Riffs and Revolutions

Get ready for an electrifying night of raw energy, crushing riffs, and musical showdowns at Riffs & Revolutions—the ultimate one-round Battle of the Bands! Bands will take the stage for an all-or-nothing performance, delivering their best set in a high-octane competition where only the most powerful sound reigns supreme.

Each band gets one shot to impress the judges and the crowd, unleashing their talent, stage presence, and musical mastery in a no-holds-barred showdown. From blistering solos to thunderous drum fills, this is where passion meets performance, and revolution meets rhythm.

SPECIFIC RULES:

• Team size should be 3-8 members.

• Participants must bring their own instruments.

• A 5-piece drum kit will be provided by the host college.

• In case of any special technical requirements, the event coordinators can be contacted.

• Open for all colleges, professional and semi-professional bands.

• Each participant is allowed to represent only one band.

• Songs with appropriate lyrics are to be chosen and the lyrics sheet must be submitted prior to the performance for OCs.

• Time limit for the performance is 15 mins including setup, soundcheck and clearance.

• Only Indian languages and English songs can be performed.

• Originals will be given more weightage.

• Processed music and backing tracks are strictly not allowed.

GENERAL RULES:

• The competition will be held in 1 round only.

• In case of special technical requirements for the instruments, event coordinators must be intimated in advance.

• Participants are requested to report 2 hours before the commencement of the event.

• Judges’ decisions will be considered final and binding.
